Improvements for I doser player

Post by lrichil »

Hi, i have some ideas for the i doser player.

First one... well re write in another language, i mean visual basic its far from the best option and some people, including my self, experience problems with RAM usage.

Second One: The other day i was trying something with a friend who says he is feeling something with doses (i havent yet). To know if he really was feeling something i selected a dose and changed the name so he had no idea what he was suppose to feel... but the big picture and description revealed the secret, so... maybe a option to view only the play dose, open dose buttons.

Third One: a way to view time elapsed instead of percent of dose administered.

I think thats it, just some healthy constructive critics :)

I think this would be a great idea, if you could see how many minutes/seconds along the dose you are it would be a great help.

Thanks, i just remembered another idea.

The posibility to stack up doses, that way you could set condition and then the dose of your selection and hear them without having to get up open dose and everything.

Volume controls

Post by mran »

Being able to stop a dose and select a different one without quitting would definitely be nice.

My only other quibble with the ap is that it takes over my computer's volume controls in a very annoying way.

For one thing, I cannot get the volume low enough to be really comfortable with earbuds, and worry I might be damaging my hearing (more of a concern when you're 45 than when you're 20.)

The other issue is that turning the ap's volume down goes right to my computer's "wave" volume, not even the main volume, and turns it down and leaves it down so that anything else I try to play is barely audible until I open that control panel and readjust. Annoying. None of my other applications affect the overall computer volume.

I'm using XP Sp3.

I concur with all of the above pretty much. I would also like to add an option to let the pc shut down if one wishes when a dose is finished so you don't have to get up and turn it off. I have to keep my pc on my bed and you know how they'll burn up if it stays on over night. I always use these when I'm ready to fall asleep to gain optimum benefits (I mean for the one's I list below)

Auto shut down. Win.
Or yeah, piggy back doses if they're similar: I'd not mind doing an Astral: Lucid or the like. I don't like having to close the program and reopen it to play a different dose if I start one and decide 10 % into it meh, I'd rather do this instead.
