I have to go with the flow to have effects?

When i dose, i can get effects but only if i go with the flow, for instance, if i do heroin qh, then i cant stand up when i just let it do its thing but if i use normal force, i can stand and walk, like it just feels like im making myself heavy and not the dose, like the dose gets me there but i gota keep it up, am i really getting effects???
