Hi guys,
well my questions is so simple so i hope to receive a reply fast
is it normal the background static?
because many of my doses have that static so i don't know if it is something wrong
with my files or something like that...
Is this normal? Backgorund static?
Re: Is this normal? Backgorund static?
static is white noise and pink noise. perfectly normal in a dose.

All the noise in the doses is pink noise, the white one is more "sharp", it's like the static on the FM dial. Pink noise is smoother. Yes it is normal, and it is intended to mask outside sounds so that you can better focus on the dose.Tru wrote:static is white noise and pink noise. perfectly normal in a dose.

Not entirely. The static white and pink noises are meant as a carrier for the frequencies. Being a sound carrier is to modulate and accentuate the carried frequencies such that they are more fine tuned to what they need to be.Th3_uN1Qu3 wrote:All the noise in the doses is pink noise, the white one is more "sharp", it's like the static on the FM dial. The "carrier" is the frequency of the sound, ie the pitch of the tones. Pink noise is simply used as a dissociative, to mask outside sounds and make the tones "fade in the background".Tyrulan wrote:Not entirely.
