Quick Q about Binarial beats...

Post by Barbon »

K quick Q about Idoser and pretty much any Binarial beats.

When you listen to these on headphones are you looking to concentrate on any specific part of the tones such as the background or just concentrate on the main sound as a whole. Thx.

You don't really have to think about the sound. Just listen to it. I'm not concentrating to listening the one part of the tones, I 'm just listening to it. You may try just to listen to it and see, if it works. Maybe thats my problem, because I'm not concentrating to the specific part of tones if theres any.

To explain - the white noise is a carrier for the two frequencies played in each ear individually. Therefore we are not interested in concentrating on the white noise whatsoever, it only accentuates the rhythmic pulsing you hear. This pulse is known as the beat. You do not necessarily need to focus on the beat I only mention this so that you understand it is this perceptual integration which causes an amplitude-modulated standing wave. This in turn causes a resonant entrainment of oscillation in your head, where your mind's electromagnetic waves begin to reverberate in accordance. When your brainwaves change length its cycles per second are changed. These are known as Hertz, or Hz. Your brain will experience anywhere from less than 1, to 30 Hz during a dose.

In short - all you need to do while listening is maintain a consistent mindset. If you become distracted you will lose whatever 'progress' you have made thus far in a particular track.
