I would give your headphones about an 5, they have a nice range on them and they seem to be nicely built, BUT you should always go with an over the ear style, they block out more sound. I have a friend that uses Skullcandy UPROCK, but she prefers my headset which is a TekNmotion PulseWave 2. Which supports 7.1
I have found that 7.1 gives me better sound, only USB and digital audio can support 7.1

I never rate any headphones above 5 unless they are over the ear(aka around the ear) as the chance for outside sound is greatly increased with on the ear.

They are over the ear headphones in thus they go over my head unless your talking about the ones that go like behinf your head??? IDK but yeah thanks for the help.

one the ear sit on the ear, around the ear have covers that completely surround your ear, google it if your still not sure
