No more possible than it is to be addicted to video games or films or popcorn or pornography. I would get into the sciency-wiency bit that proves why exactly it isn't, but I'll save that tirade for another day.

I don't think it's possible to be physically addicted to it, because there is no physical drug in your system. However, it's probably possible to become psychologically addicted if you use doses solely as a coping mechanism or an escape or something like that. Like someone else said though, the same goes for a lot of other things, like video games.
