Dose makes you high without paying attention?

I have a really hard time paying attention, so I have to ask,
HoG, GoH, Black Sunshine, etc, are they stronger so you can get high off of them without paying as much attention or are they only strong if you pay attention?
Also, what about the cheaper/"newbie" ones? ie, do you have to pay a lot of attention to a not-so-strong one to get a high but you can get high easily off of the more expensive or stronger ones?

Ya thats what I was asking what Is it hard for him to pay attention to
