Hearing two different tones?

I've been experimenting with doses for a couple weeks now, I've gotten a few of them to work great, notably Kava Kava and Calm ME. With $19 headphones no less!

I've noticed that when a dose works, I'm hearing what sounds like a single pulsing sound, when a dose isn't working (okay.. it's usually the sex doses.. ) I can hear a distinct tone in each ear. Has anyone else had this problem? Has anyone experienced hearing each tone seperately and the dose still works? Would higher quality headphones help with this or is my brain just rebelling against me?

To anyone who's interested, I found my answer. It was in fact my headphones! Better ones make a huge difference! It seems that the cheap ones weren't producing the proper sounds.

Hmmm ok, I think I might get myself some better headphones too...
