Tinnitus

Post by blahzur »

I have tried some iDoser files but none of them have worked, can my tinnitus stop me from achieving full effect on the doses?

Its possible but I have tinnitus and the doses work for me, but likewise there are different variations of it. I have an ultra high pitched ringing tone in my ears. Can you describe yours? Once we figure that out we can work out getting your doses to work.

Naw thats a good enough description. Is there anything you can do to make it quieter? Also how is it that you dose. Can you describe exactly what you do when you dose. And when also. Your setup too may be interfering too.

I havent found anything to make it quieter except turning the volume a bit louder than the beeping.
When i dose i lay down and put a towel over my eyes and listen, i dont move or anything. And i use a headset, Steelseries Siberia V2. I usaly dose in the evening when im a bit tierd and i also make sure i am not disturbed by anything.

Hmmm well if your comfortable where you lay and your headphones appear to be good. I think that possibly you just need a little bit of practice with meditation. I think that could help to ignore the noise. http://www.i-doser.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=1&t=10307

I've the same problem, except that my tinnitus is extremely loud and it doesnt go away ever. It's also in many different kinds of sounds. There's the very high pitch wheezing sound, high pitch wheezing sound, then there's the TV static (2 different kinds of), and tv machine sound. Then there's the new pitches that sometimes start all of the sudden and slowly quiet down and join their friends as the constant eternal background sound i have to listen. These sounds are really so loud, that i think if something was louder it would have to be a nuclear explosion. Wonder if there's any hope for me. :P

I tried the free version's nap thing, but all it did was make my head feel a bit light, not so much relaxed.
