would it help if i didn't read anything about the dose i want to try, that way i wont expect the effects during the dose, making the results better?
Right, well in case GhostX91750's answer was a little incoherent for anyone else, here are my two cents:
Reading up on what a dose does is probably not only safer in terms of knowing what you're going to possibly face, but also will provide greater reactions to the dose due to allowing a placebo effect to take place. If you have expectations, this will only prove to make any reactions to the dose stronger.
However, having expectations will not tell you if you are experiencing placebo effects, or if the dose is actually working. I've created a "control dose" binaural pattern (use the reset pattern if you'd like, so long as you don't begin to recognize it!) if you want to experiment on your own to find out if you are using more placebo or more true reaction.
