I-Doser resistance: The Guardian Theory

Post by MikeCirka »

So, looking into why I've yet to get any effects with I-Doser, and found something interesting on a forum about brain entrainment. Apparently, regardless of how you're going about it (Monaural/Binaural beats, Isochronic tones, etc), there are many people who sub-consciously reject the entrainment due to fear of altered mental states. It's called the gaurdian effect.

These people apparently have an extremely hard time entering a trance, and when they get close to one, their brain screws them up with intrusive thoughts, itches, fidgeting, etc.

Honestly, I don't think I'm afraid of altered mental states (At least not consciously), but I do have itches, random thought derailment, etc, while trying to dose and it breaks my concentration, probably ruining the dose.

I was wondering what others thought about this? Does it resonate with people who can't, or couldn't at first, dose? Or were you maybe afraid when you first tried it and it still worked? What's your opinion on the guardian effect and I-Doser?

This is 100% true in my opinion. Its a closed mind. People are ignorant and they inately are displeased by change. When you begin to unlock your mind through meditation you will find it easier to achieve altered states of mind

It is my opinion that anybody can Idose. Yes they may have a closed mind and that may inhibit their ability, but once they are able to dissolve their pre-concieved notions, mankind can do anything.

As Yoda would have said 'You must unlearn what you have learned'

I think there is a far greater world that lies just beyond the conscious self. There has to be

I agree fully on this. It is scary to think about what man can do.

I am not even kidding when I say meditate. You can unlock your subconcious blocks.
