Apparently I can't meditate :/

Post by Technofreak13 »

I've tried everything :( I've looked a ton into it, looked up a lot of posts on here, tried my own ways, but I can't seem to stop thinking when I dose, making it ineffective :( I've been dosing for a year and a half now and haven't had any results! It seems, when I start feeling like my bed is rocking, my mind goes crazy thinking ABOUT what I'm feeling...how can I stop this?? Please, I've looked up the guides on here but they haven't helped. I really really want I-Doser to work, I've tried a TON of different doses a TON of times, and I don't know what to do to successfully fall into that trance :( am I the like 1% that just happens to be immune?? Can someone please help me?

Everyone can meditate, You just need to find your own way. For me, I get really bored and impatient.. So I listen to music! For some people it can be distracting if it has words in it, but for me it relaxes me. Some people use classical or instrumental music so they won't get distracted. Also try reset and condition.. Reset helps you clear your mind and Condition prepares your mind for the dose. I really like the mp3s on itunes and the app because they automatically come with music or ambient sounds. But yeah try methods like taking a hot bath, listening to music (instrumental or with words, whatever works for you), and other things that may help you get calm and ready for a dose.

Good Luck :3 ~ Gary

ok thanks, I've tried reset and Condition a few times, but as far as the music goes. So you play it in the background, do you concentrate more on the music, especially if you know the words and like anticipate in your mind what the next sound is gonna be? or do you try to focus more on the beats and the music is just kinda there?

I try to focus on the dose but sometimes I focus on the beat and the instruments a lot, the reason they say not to have music w/ words is because it leads to other thoughts that might distract you from the dose, at least that's my best educated guess. But yeah I try to focus on the sounds more than the words and it usually works for me :3
