Better Results Advice Needed

Post by OverDoser »

I was wondering what kind of specific meditation I should do to acquire the best results from dosing? As well as recommending me the best headphones from peoples experience. I am looking for the best results from my doses and I been practicing with quick hit versions mostly on my ipod. Any advice will be appreciated.

Headphones shouldn't matter that much, as long as the sound quality is crystal clear. I would recommend NOT meditating, but sitting upright to avoid sleeping, and concentrating on the beats as well as you can.

I believe where you are coming from, the subtle essences and complex sequences of frequencies the I-Doser developers put into the session require headphones that can play the session as it was intended to be heard. In those regards, you are totally correct. What I intended above was that the BRAND of headphones do not essentially matter, as long as the sound is clear and crisp, as if the sound being heard through them seems identical to the sound of the original file played in the development software. A general rule of thumb is cheap headphones or earbuds are not going to work very well. Notice I said GENERAL rule of thumb. This in itself implies that there are exeptions to the statement. I personally dislike the Beats Studio headphones collection when using BWE software, whether it is I-Doser or another software. The reason: they are overpriced, and their gain, bass, and treble are all out of proportion, with bass being boosted, treble reduced, and gain too high, causing distorted sound. I also dislike that they require the use of batteries. I have a pair of over ear headphones from an electronics store that only cost $45 (mind you the previous headphones cost ~$200 or more), which included the renewable warranty good for two years, and the sound is perfect. They are studio quality for a bargain, and they do it while ommitting the "sound improvement" technologies of the previous. I get better results from these than any other headphones I own. So price and quality do matter, but not all the time.

The list of approved headphones on the website are another "for sure" choice, and I even saw a pair on the list for under $100, I think it was in the $20-$50 range. When in doubt, look at the list.

StealtheUnknown, that is what I am looking for, best quality (or recommended by peers) headphones. I just would like to know what you all use and such or if anyone here works at I-Doser, what headphones do the developers use. http://astore.amazon.com/idosercom02-20 ... B000NV0SG2 <-- this link is the headphones I first bought a while back, I didn't get results but that could have been just me trying I-Doser the first time and not dosing properly, plus they broke a while back so I'm back to I-Doser and I need new headphones. I practice at least one dose every night, laying down on my bed, eyes closed, lights off, no interruption, but I'm using ear buds from my phone connected to my Ipod  I just want to make sure what people use/recommend (or developer recommends) before I go buy headphones. Money won't be a problem, I am willing to pay for good quality headphones.

P.S what headphones do you use, StealththeUnknown? And what do you use idoser site admin?

I, personally, use a set I got from Radioshack, they cost around $35, plus a two year renewable warranty, which brings the total up to around $45, including tax. They work marvellously. I forget the name of the model. There are a list of approved headphones that you can purchase from the I-Doser website, granted they can be pricy.

Yeah, the approved headphones on the I-Doser website. Looks like i got to look and compare for myself then, I got a question though, how do you do your dosing? I thought meditation was important and part of the dosing.

By the way, could I get your opinion on what headphones I should probably get on the I-Doser website? http://astore.amazon.com/idosercom02-20?node=2&page=1 I'm reading reviews and such but not sure what exactly to look for, I could use some help.

To be honest, get the headphones that fit your need but are within your budget. If you want wireless and can afford them, do so. The price range is massive for the approved headphones
