Hello!
I've only recently gotten into dosing. Aside from the free samples, I purchased Nitrous, A-Bomb and Divinorum, the first two since they're recommended for beginners, and the last one since I've always been very interested in Diviner's Sage, but never got the opportunity to actually try it out for real. I also got Condition, since it's supposed to help me focus on the dose I want to do.
To dose, I'm using a sleeping mask, which covers my eyes completely, but still allows me to open them if I want to. I'm also sitting in a comfy chair since my headset cable isn't long enough to reach my bed from my desktop. The headset I'm using is a Plantronics GameCom 777. I'm not sure if said model is ideal, but they're very comfortable to wear at least, although I'll probably replace them soon, since I need a more portable set of headphones, anyway.
Now to my problem. Whichever dose I listen to, no matter if I choose to do Condition first or not, no matter if I close my eyes or leave them open and just look at the inside of my sleeping mask - my eyes get dry to the point that it hurts in a matter of minutes. Every time. The only way to stop said pain at least temporarily is to rub them, which obviously breaks my concentration and isn't exactly healthy to do regularly, either.
My eyes as such are fine, I don't wear glasses or contact lenses and I'm careful not to strain them too much.
Does anyone have any experience with this, and knows what to do about it? Dosing is fun, but it's not going to work out this way. Who knows what kinds of consequences this might have.

Re: Dry eyes while dosing
I'm also new so I suppose I ain't gonna be much help.
But I have experienced this a few times but I noticed every time it happens is when I have my eyes covered with a shirt or towel. If I don't cover my eyes they don't burn, itch or feel dry however I have noticed that my eyes tend to tense up pr "strain" as you said if I'm trying to focus on the dose as weird as it sounds. But honestly I can't think of any other reason it'd be happening to you. Try doing them at night so you don't have to cover your eyes and if that doesn't work I don't know what else to tell ya. v('-')v

Re: Dry eyes while dosing
what i do when i dose is i wear something over my eyes like glasses or airsoft/snow goggles (thats the best) then i put a shirt or a towel on top of that. the reason why i do that is because i can open my eyes all the way and theres no pressure on my head. the reason why i started doing that is because i have a huge jew nose and when i have something over my eyes i can see light on the sides of my nose lol but if you wear something like that then it might help alittle bit because nothing will touch your eyes. but if it doesnt help then make your self yawn lol that will constrict your tear ducts and your eyes will get watery, but watch out because if you do it to much you will have tears running down your face and you might get sleepy =P
