Was my hearing damaged from falling asleep to Cocaine dose?

Post by BlueRay »

Hello,

A few months ago (at 2 AM at night) I went to my bed and wanted to listen to the Cocaine dose for about 30 minutes (with headphones that cover the ears).

But what really happened, is that I was very tired and fell asleep 10 minutes after I started listening to the dose. Unfortunatenly, my phone had the music on repeat, so the Cocaine dose played in my headphones in repeat for 5 hours until I woke up (I fell asleep with the headphones on).

The day later I noticed some hearing loss, which since then, goes away and returns very quickly when I'm listening to music. I notice a significant difference in my hearing and I think that the Cocaine dose caused it.

So do you think that this damaged my hearing? It was playing nonstop in both of my ears for 5 hours, in about 25% of the maximum volume of my headphones. The volume was quite low in the headphones and not loud, but it still played nonstop for 5 hours, which is a lot of time.

I am really afraid that this caused me to lose some of my hearing, and I am very serious about it. Please write here your honest opinion if you can, it will help me a lot.

If it was a low volume, no I don't think it would damage your hearing. If that is a high volume even at 25% that's obviously a very different story. But I wouldn't worry too much. See if the symptoms persist, if they do, go see a doctor soon. I'm sorry but I doubt anyone can give you much more than that.

OK, Thank you very much. I really hope I didn't permanently damage my hearing...

Also, did it happen to anyone else here on this forumm? And if it actually happened to you, did you have any hearing loss after?

Please ,if anyone ever fell asleep with a dose playing nonstop, please post it here and tell if you felt losing hearing afterwards.

This could really help me because I'm extremely worried about my situation.

Thank you for the support.

If it happened to anyone else here, please write it here and tell if you got hearing loss as a result from such a thing.

This is not the place to seek medical advice. If you are having problems with your health on any level, see a doctor.
