What can I use to keep headphone jack pressed into computer?

Post by laundrysoap »

I have a pair of nice Fender headphones(they came as a bonus with an amp I bought). They work perfectly on my amp and ipod, but not my laptop. Only the left ear's sounds play unless I keep my hand on the jack so it stays completely against the laptop. The jack fits(it is a 3.5mm), but unless you press it against the laptop it won't play the right ear's sounds.

Of course, doing that isn't ideal for trying to relax the whole time as you have to press hard. What could I use to remedy this problem?

Maybe same as the other headphone problem on the forums? Your headphones may be shorted out...

Then again, what kind of amp do you have? Amp headphones usually have bigger jacks, unless you have the attachment...

Fender, eh? Me too :P
