Loss of focus???

I tried Opium at a friends house yesterday and I had a really cool experience, but since it wore off I feel like I can't concentrate. My mind has been wondering and If I olike try to focus in on a face or something in my mind I can't. I've read that this can't hurt you at all and maybe it's just in my head, but I just want to make sure. So has anyone else experienced this?

I lose short term memory and can't focus after opium, but not that long. However, I did feel different for a while after doing marijuana. It wore off for me every time, since it never actually stays in your brain like chemicals do.

The only time I had lasting effects from a dose was when I fell asleep listiong to vico on my Ipod. I woke ~5 hours later and LSD was playing... I felt kinda weird all day.
