Difficulty Getting to Work

Post by Doktr »

I've tried a few doses. I started with Marijuana, but that was too long and I fell asleep.
I tried a few of the shorter ones, French-Roast, Nitrous and nothing.
What am I supposed to be focussing on? I'm sat comfortably with my headphones on in my chair, I've tried focussing on the sound; nothing. Tried letting my mind wonder; nothing.
After a couple of failed attempts, this made me angry. I don't know why but now I feel too angry to try any others, and I tried to come into it with an open mind.

I'm going to try Calm-ME now, see if I feel any less angry.
I'd simply like some convincing that it works, and what I might be doing wrong, and what I'm supposed to do whilst listening to them.
Thank you.

If you've just started, you'll find it takes some getting used to...just keep listening to doses every now and then, and you'll start noticing subtle things that'll tell you they're working. Again, it takes a while.

You're starting out good, with the simple doses. Others you can try that might have a small effect are trip, opium, all the simple doses...

Focus on the pulsating sound you hear inside your head. Just concentrate on that, and if your mind wanders, just let it, but always be able to concentrate on that sound.

Thanks for all that.
I'll give it another attempt in a while. :-D

Edit:
Just tried Nitrous again.
I wouldn't say the effects were "intense" but I did feel something. I felt big, and everything around me felt big. I felt like I was rocking in my chair and my heart rate started to increase rapidly.
The effects get more intense each time you take a dose, right?

Edit again:
Tried Anesthesia. Seems I can't do long ones without falling asleep. It's the second time it's happened.
Grr. :(

Of course, yes.
I made sure of that.
There isn't even a "mono" option on my sound card. :?

I find the shorter ones don't work as well as the longer ones...
but keep trying, one will work eventually.
good luck
