Ipods EQ

Hi all
I ususally listion to my doses on my Ipod.
I was looking at the settings a few mins ago and saw that the "bass boster" EQ was on!!
so I turned it off and did trip and still not much happened.
do you people think that the EQ setting was decreasing the effectiveness of doses or does it matter...

It matters, put it on "None".
