Not yet :/ my shitty computer won't run winzip or winrar or win7 or anything

Have you tried opening the zip file on another computer or in any public library? It should open. If so, that means there's something wrong (maybe updates) on your computer and either you try to resolve it yourself or you approach any technical expert in your area and get the problem resolved. Keep us updated...

@Technofreak13 I think I have a solution for you:

If you use your firefox browser, go to Firefox Options -> Application tab.

In the content type, search for archive and see what action is there under "Action". I am sure there is itunes. Change it to 7zip or your zip application.

I would try redownloading the file. If that fails, and you tried winrar, try out winzip.

Please read the entire thread. He has tried everything which you said but still couldn't open the files.

My bad. Two more things you can try that haven't been suggested - are you sure your default open with is set to winrar/zip and not itunes? If it's set to itunes then itunes would pop up and nothing else would happen. Also if that isn't the issue you can rename the file like this.. if it says dosename, change it to dosename.zip. You should get a popup asking if you are sure you want to change the file type, hit yes, and try to extract it.
