Here's one that might be kind of cool-the feeling of a runner's high. I experience it when I run long distances and start hurting, the body throws in some chemicals that don't really kick in until you stop running, but do make you feel pretty good-in real life it's nothing huge, but you do feel it. For a dose the feeling could be multiplied to where it is felt immensely.
Also, the feeling of our fight or flight mechanism kicking in. Where you get a massive dose of adrenalin and your body is ready for an emergency path of action. Your heart rate goes up, your breathing gets heavy-certain body functions are completely shut down so you can focus on conquering or getting away from the situation. All you will know is your primitive instinct to survive.

There are already such doses that release the fight or flight and they are Adrenaline and Nicotine

Kinda makes me laugh how readily available nicotine is and we have an idose for it.
Re: Runner's High/Fight+Flight
Does anyone else think it's weird that the Nicotine I-Dose is supposed to mimic a fight or flight response?
I smoke cigs daily. Even when I first started, I never felt the response.. so I'm not sure why it's part of it. When I get a nicotine buzz, I feel very relaxed, my heart-rate and breathing are slower, and occasionally I feel dizzy and slightly sick to my stomach. I don't feel the nausea anymore, since I smoke daily, but it was true for when I first started.
Anyone have an explanation for that?
LOL, and for the main point (ie: response to OP), have you actually used the Adrenaline Dose? Do you know for sure that it won't replicate the feelings you're looking for? If you have and you haven't gotten the feeling you're suggesting, then maybe it would be cool if they made a Dose like what you're describing.

Yeah, I saw those too man but with fight or flight I really wanted to capture the feeling of being in a survival situation where life and death is really present-true fight or flight isn't all about adrenaline-it's mentioned in the dose summary because adrenaline kicks off the response-it doesn't last long or stay long, basically once your body sends out this load of adrenaline into you, alot of functions stop, only very basic ones that allow you to survive would work.jombotski wrote:There are already such doses that release the fight or flight and they are Adrenaline and Nicotine

Basically, I'd want fight or flight to out you in a survival situation where you felt absolutely surrounded by threats and had to make an immediate decision-just like with the real fight or flight response. Adrenaline dose currently is more about the feeling you get from pure adrenaline, more something you get from a really fast ride than fight or flight, believe it or not.
Adrenaline is probably real close to this idea, and I didn't elaborate enough on that, that was my bad-and I do know that the Adrenaline dose does mention fight or flight alot-and Adrenaline is involved in that alot but wasn't what I was going for

EDIT: Adrenaline is about one of many different hormones release into the body during fight or flight, adrenaline is the big one because of its potency.
Nicotine, eh not so close but not that long of a shot.
Basically, you are in a survival situation and you are surrounded by threats, you have only basic functions. The adrenaline dose is about the feeling, I want to replicate that AND the SITUATION AND have it put in the mindset of a primitive man who needs to make a decision to survive, the wrong one could mean death.
