dxm!

dxm is quite an experience. let me guide you through it...
the setup: i had bose AE2 headphones, with the cord stretched across the room to my bed. i laid there with my feet under a blanket. the lights were off, and i was the only one awake. and so it begins.
i had practiced breathing exercises/meditation beforehand, so i was feeling pretty confident, unlike when i tried marijuana, where my only experience was getting stoned out of my mind for about ten seconds.
after concentrating on my breathing for a bit, it began to hit me. if you'd imagine little dots running through your entire body, where everywhere they touch brings bliss, you'd feel how i felt. my mind had a pretty intense rush, and i felt my head being lifted from my shoulders some time later. i was lightheaded.
the next few minutes had me in a trance, and i felt my head drifting away. i'd get excited about having no head, and it would come back. the process would repeat over and over again. eventually, something strange happened.
i went so deep into the trance that i couldn't even hear my headphones anymore, but my head kept floating away. i'm not even sure if i fell asleep or not, but soon i was conscious of everything again, and i was disoriented. i told myself i might have a panic attack if i tripped hard, so i took my headphones off. it was hard for me to walk straight, but i managed to put them away, shut everything off, and crash into sleep.
another noticeable effect was that my dreams were extremely vivid. i can't remember the last time i dreamed, but it's been a very long time. i have no problems recalling my dreams right now. my first dream:
i was home with two friends locked in my mom's room, and we knew that if we didn't protect ourselves, the zombies would get us. i was hiding behind curtains until i felt something grab me, and i was instantly awake. i walked to the other side of my room, grabbed my tennis racquet, put it back next to my bed, and went to sleep again. my next dream, i was simply walking down my school hallway, greeting people.
anyway, dxm was fun until i got panicky about not recalling my thoughts. i'll try it again soon. it was amazing while it lasted, to say the least.
