Hi I'm new to the forums and wasn't sure which sub to put this in, hope it's the right place.
Anyways, I may have the opportunity to conduct research in a lab next year that deals with social stressors in humans and measures physiological responses (cortisol & testosterone). Ideally, I would like to test the hypothesis that some frequency lessens the physiological response to social stressors. I need to have a pretty detailed proposal to be considered for the research fellowship and was wondering what you guys think would be a good dose to prime subjects with before they are exposed to the social stressor.
I have been occasionally checking up on I-doser for a very long time and I am very excited that this company has grown so much. I tried my first dose maybe 5-7 years ago and was amazed by its efficacy. Thanks for your time.

Hi MonKeyDNA,
Dose of social anxiety/stress is to consult some doctor and if the doctor prescribes medication to you for the treatment then follow doctor's advice. Go through a cognitive behavioral therapy and taking deep breaths as social anxiety/stress dose. Using targeted mental exercises are also helpful as dose of social anxiety/stress.

Hello, and welcome to these parts of the internet. First of all, this is a great place to put this topic, but for future reference, a better place to have put this topic is over in the dose request thread. Just go to the index page, and you should find it there.
Now, for a few suggestions on a session that will be effective at relieving anxiety, i would stay away from any session that simulates hallucinogenic properties, and definitely stay away from anything that simulates a stimulant, such as methamphetamine. Really, I would suggest staying away from anything that describes itself as having narcotic effects, as even opiate sessions (heroine, codeine, opium, morphine) or sedatives such as quaaludes can be stressful to experience. For now, stick with some of the pure sessions, especially ones such as delta and theta. These are not only relaxing, they also can inspire inner insight. There are also some sessions that are specifically designed for anxiety. The only sedative I would recommend is one that the company nicknamed, "The Miracle Drug" for it's extremely calming effects. The session is named Tranquil.
