Difficulty Dosing?

Post by Platform »

So I decided to try I Doser yesterday, and picked myself up Peyote and Hash for some quick purchase doses. What I do when dosing, is I lie down on the floor, put in my earbuds, close my eyes and rest on my pillow. Currently after doing both Hash and Peyote once, I can't really say that I'm experiencing much at all.

Is it maybe the earbuds? I just picked up 2 types today, and they are just some cheap $1 earbuds from the Dollar Store. One is a normal slip-in type of earbuds like standard Ipod earbuds, and the others are those that you would wrap around your ear and stick the bud in that way.

Outside of those, I have a pair of headphones with a microphone, but only one of the sides of the headphones (Left) works.

Right now those are the only things I could think of that come to mind. I'm probably going to dose to Alcohol a bit more and then do something lighter and try going back to Peyote at some point in the future. That being said, any ideas/tips would also be appreciated. Thank you :)

Well first of all, Welcome to the forum! It is always nice to see new users on the forum. Second of all, purchase some over-ear headphones that have good quality sound without all sorts of enhancements like surround sound or bass boost. Just some plain over-ear headphones with good range. Cheap dollar store earbuds or apple earbuds won't cut it. Third of all, find a technique that puts your mind in an open trance. I use a technique where I count backwards from a thousand, and repeat. And last, but not least, DO NOT USE WITH QUICK HITS when you are first starting off. Get the full session, because it allows you to have more time to open your mind and let the sounds stimulate the brain.

Hope this helps. Post often, have fun, be responsible, and as always, Happy dosing!

Phil
