So I think I found out why it's not working.

Post by IvonVonFudge »

I recently started using i Doser and it hasn't been going great. I tried to make them work but it wouldn't work for some reason. I tried Marijuana, Apsinthe, and First Love. Non of them worked. I think I got why it's not working though. My earphones. I have iPod earphones and nothing. So I was think, what are some great headphones under 20 dollars. I was thinking JVC MARX500, if you have some, are they good? If you know better/stronger ones under 20, please tell me!

If you were to browse the forums a bit more, you would have probably stumbled over the numerous posts stating NOT to ask whether certain headphones work a thousand times. There are millions of different headphones out there, all by different companies. To ask us if a specific pair works is like asking someone in Taiwan for the address of a person living in Mexico. We do not know. All you can do is ask us for reccomendations on headphones that we have known to work from experience. My personal suggestion: look at the list of approved headphones ON the I-Doser website. Of course, they are a bit pricy, but price usually (but not always) has a positive correlation with quality. Usually, over-ear headphones work the best, but users have reported certain earbuds to work for this purpose, the most common being the Ink'd by Skullcandy. I use a pair of over-ear headphones I got from an electronics store, and they were cheap, but durable, and have amazing sound quality. I am talking about the same quality you get with some of those $200 headphones, without any sound boosters or auditory enhancement hardware. They cost me 45 bucks, and that included a two year warranty that is renewable. And since we are talking about enhancers, I would like to point out that you should AVOID headphones that use surround sound, bass boost, etc. what you want from your headphones when using a brain entrainment program is the RAW, UNMODIFIED sound. The company worked hard and did a lot of research to produce the best possible quality product. The tones, carrier, and ambience (if using mobile or cd) have been balanced intimately to ensure the best results. Using modifiers, as the name implies, MODIFY the quality and balances of the sound, compromising the effects. Also, a plausible cause for your lack of effects may not lie in the quality of the headphones, but the wiring of your brain. You may be unaffected because you may not be susceptible to a program of this nature. Keep trying, and don't waste money on good headphones to find out it simply does not work for you.

Best regards,

I did check the i Doser recomended headphones. JVC's where there. I was just wondering if at least one person bought them. They were 12 bucks. Sorry if I'm spamming the forums, i don't know a lot.

You are not spamming, you are just new (I am relatively new as well, I just spent a few weeks incognito browsing this forum to gain knowlege on how to survive here without pissing anybody off). Just look at some of the less active threads like support to gain some knowlege as well.
