First experiences, focus on peyote

Post by supernaturalanaesthetist »

I'm new to I-Doser, and while I've been reading through the experiences, I do confess the necessary naiveté of a beginner; I'm not sure exactly what I'm supposed to feel, how to describe what I'm feeling, or whether what I'm feeling is in my head (I have a very active imagination ^_^).

Before this dose, I tried Marijuana and Ecstasy, but neither to its full duration, and neither while in a state of relaxation and focus (though Ecstasy still managed to be very stimulating). I did try Astral while masked and supine, and while I did not project, it felt like deep meditation; I heard, very clearly, one of my original songs being sung by a full choir, which was amazing. While I could conceivably do this in a regular, alert state-- and while I have had musical hallucinations without the aid of a drug or entrainment-- this was loud and clear.

I decided to try for something a little more intense, so I chose peyote. Again, the room was dark but for my color-changing fiber optic froggy lamp, and I was lying in bed with an eye mask. I began the dose, and I felt my body shake slightly, as though somebody were stomping around downstairs. However, the shaking was more persistent, and I began to attribute it to my mind. Early on, I had closed-eye visuals of hearts and hot air balloons. As the dose went on, I felt tingling in my legs and on the tips of my fingers, which eventually turned into heat.

There was a point during the dose when everything suddenly went black, and I was shaken with a jolt. My adrenaline surged and my heart beat rapidly; I met this with fear, but reasoned my way out of it, knowing that it was the I-Doser just doing its thang. The visuals slowly crept back in and became more beautiful. I saw some spirals, paisleys, and triangles, in addition to the familiar hearts and hot air balloons.

My body was light and hot, though my stomach was being stimulated in a way that's hard to describe. At first it felt like it was being rubbed (a favorite sensation of mine, incidentally-- I'm rather puppy-like in that respect), but the rubbing turned into a crawling sensation. I started to see a flower that seemed to be growing out of my stomach, with a stem not unlike an umbilical cord. That was an odd, odd sensation!

When the dose ended and I removed my mask, my vision randomly came in and out of focus. I went outside and listened to some Pink Floyd while gazing at the torches on my patio; the flames were enthralling. My dog walked up to me, and I picked her up to pet her. Her eyes seemed deeper, more human, and almost endless, which I thought was very interesting.

Overall, it was a very interesting experience, and I'm excited to try new doses!

just a quick question because i just started 3 days ago and have just tried pyote about an hour ago. i do feel some effects from listening, but with the visualisations you see are they supposed to be in colour? ive never done a hallucinogenic drug before so im not exactly sure what i should be seeing.
