Gaining susceptibility to binaural beats

Well at first I think I was immune to binaural beats because I couldn't get any of the doses to work no matter how hard I focused and how much I believed they would work; however I managed to get lucid dreams to work, once. So I think I might just be originally unsusceptible; so I pose the question: how can I increase my susceptibility to binaural beats? Anyone know? Thanks.
