Is i-doser less likely to work while surfing the web?

Okay, so I'm not new to i-doser... In fact I've been using i-doser for 8 or so months now, maybe even longer. I've never tried doing a dose while having my eyes open and surfing the web, chatting or whatever... reading... etc... Have any of you had experiences where the dose affects you as much as if you'd been laying back with your eyes closed? Just wondering. Thanks.

Yeah, I concentrated on the beats while doing some work, and the dose worked. Probably should have been working though.
