ive tried it a number of times
and yes it it sure can make u fall asleep [black out even]

when u are really tired it will probably make u
black out after a couple of minutes without remembering u even put the headphones on u

or

u'll get caught in ur thoughts and get dissociated for ur surroundings and u wont even notice how ur thoughts become dreams
[like with most of the delta range doses on i-doser]

Yeah it can make you fall asleep.
Good way to keep yourself awake is put your elbow and below laying on the bed and the upper half of your arm in the air.
If you fall asleep your arm will fall and will wake you up ((Unless you're really tired))

I've just tried this. No idea why it's called astral, as I've experienced astral travel before and this doesn't come close (maybe I should have tried 'out of body' instead). The first dose did nothing, although I dozed off two or three times. I tried it again straight after and this time at about halfway through it felt like my arms were being magnetised upwards, but this soon stopped. Nothing conclusive here, lying still for that long is bound to have that effect.

However, towards the end I had a very faint crackling in one ear that didn't sound like it should be there. I think I need no earphones - are general iPod ones new good?

LMFAO, iPod earbuds are horrible. You need real headphones for iDoser...

Iunno, Earbuds work better for me than headphones. Just depends on the person.

I did notice that ipod earbuds do indeed work... but the wireless surround headphones work better.

i thought the whole point of the Astral dose was to let you go into the astral realm easier but all it seems to do with people ,including me, is make them sleepy and relaxed. Maybe they should have named it Alprazolam lol.
