SRS On RS-130 Headphones

Is it recommended to have SRS on or off on the Sennheiser RS-130 headphones?

can an idoser admin answer this please, cuz i just got these and they sound different with surround sound on as opposed to off. so do u have surround sound on or off when u test the doses?

You want surround turned off. You don't want any hardware or software processing on the sound.

im getting static hiss with these headphones, as all wireless headphones do. even when in close to the transmitter. usually when i turn the source volume up I cant hear it for the most part, and since the doses have white noise i can't tell if the static is present or not, i hope that does not effect the dose. does anyone else get static hiss?

Yeah...that static hiss is suoopsed to be there... its part of the thing.. if you read the FAQ it says it in there.. "11. All I hear is hisses and beeps?
I-Doser works by playing two separate binaural beats through the headphones and into each ear. The hertz level is mixed with the beats and sent on a carrier tone of white noise. The hiss or static is the white noise, and is completely normal and essential to the dose. For a further explanation see further questions in the FAQ explaining usage. no, i meant that the wireless headphones themselves give a small static hiss, and i was wondering if that would interfere with the dose

wireless headphones do give out a slight hiss.. there was another user in here who had the same problem with them... it shouldnt really affect the dose at all though...It might tho... if its not working that may be the problem

A slight hiss prodouced by some wireless headphones will not affect the dose. Keep in mind, the carrier tone for all the doses is white noise which sounds like a hiss.
