I'm new around here, but have bought a handful .drg files from the store, and also the mp3-cd1 ...
Now I bought the drg files because I thought I could export them from within the program to some other format that I can use on my Walkman ....
The reason is, my computer is prehistoric, and when playing a "dose" it's a pain in the rear, cause it keeps on clipping, chopping and make the listening experience far from nice ... I can only focus on trying to fight the urge of break this old laptop over my knee ..
Well, I guess I better come to my question .
seems the drg doesn't have the background sound as the mp3 has ..
and it does confuse me, the doses works alot better on my without the harmonizations ... even though the harmony layers makes the listening more pleasant ...
It just feel wrong to use a destructive packing methood for something like this ... and at the same time being tied to the computer while listening is not an option for me.
I absolutely love "speed & Cocaine" because I have a medical condition that makes me very tired and fatiqued always, every day all the time ... and when using for ex the cocaine I can stay alert for 5-6 hours .. amazing ... totally amazing.
I don't know if this works better on me cause I use to use the "real" thing when I was younger, but I've been clean for almost 20 years now.
.... I wonder if it would be better to use wav files even though they are supposedly huge after convert them using SBagen or whatever the tutorial said that I found on the net.
mp3 players, walkman phones, ipods or whatever they are called are the way to go .. but I for one want to be sure I get the most out of it.
Sorry for the long posting, I'm not sure it boiled down to questions, more of reflections, that I wonder if anyone else have similar questions or doubt or whatever to call it..
can you make some wav files with the highest frequency span possible
like DDD cd files unpacked as a supplement for those who bought either the .drg files or the mp3 files ?
