are you having problems?

everyone is different, but here is my advice. if you arent experiencing the effects you want from these things, treat them as a meditation. focus on the steady white noise behind the fluctuations. quiet your mind... notice your mental chatter and choose to focus on the sounds instead of think

for me, concetrating on sounds (which ones bangs in 2 ears) better, i can fantasy about interesting sounds much more then on comatose noise or at the little low hammers at the background )

I was very skeptical that counting backwards would work, but it works really well!

Everybody has a different way of making it work for them. For instance I treat it like meditation, but a couple of my friends are very susceptable (lucky bastards :P ) and they don't need to concentrate, they just let their mind wander. That usually works okay for me but, I usually fall asleep if I don't concentrate. Don't take anybody's word for a sure-fire way of making the dose work. Everybody is different, and you should try a variety of ways of doing it to find the best for you.
