Building a Biological Machine?

I read an article recently that the scientists are very close to building the first "single cell life" in laboratory using the chemicals available naturally.

Assuming that this goes thru' as expected in the next 10 years i am sure they would succeed in building a multicelluar life.

Now i have a serious question to the visionaries.
