The Music Change Shocked Me Out of It

I have iDoser for my iPhone, so it has the 15 minute versions, not the longer ones. Last night I was listening it before sleeping in a pitch black room. I was listening to Astral Projection- the only one I had ever gotten to work slightly was White Crosses but I felt like Astral Projection would work better before sleeping (I don't believe that astral projection was really going to happen- I believed it would help with a lucid dream). After a while I started to see the patterns you're supposed to before a lucid dream when all of a sudden the music changed, with what sounded like a guy coughing. Then the music became dark, a heavy contrast to the relaxing soundscape before. The change shocked me out of it. How am I supposed to relax when there are startling changes and sounds like somebody coughing??? Is there any chance we could get the option to turn the music off completely or what can I do about this?

Also, off topic but when I looked at the page for the iPhone app it says there's a version out with 40 selections to buy. However, there's no update available for iDoser in the App Store on my iPhone and my current version does not have 40 selections. Do I need to re-buy iDoser or what?

There are 40 sequences total, not 40 to buy. I will pass along the recommendation.
