Gate of Hades double experience

Hey I'm new here, and after reading all these experiences for several months I decided I should contribute too.

I tried gate of hades after reading how scary it was. Before trying I looked at youtube videos of people doing this and I was literally freaked out just by looking at it. Here's the link if you want to see it:

But anyway I did it during the day, and I was mentally fully prepared for it(this is the most important thing, otherwise you'll be scared as hell).And I already knew the "twist" as well, which kind of spoiled it for me, but oh well.

I did it lying down. It started like any other dose. I think there is opiate, because I felt good, and even a bit numb. I felt extremely drowsy, but I kept reminding myself that it is going to start any minute. after about 15 minutes the the beat changed a bit, and it made me even more drowsy.Throughout this, my whole body was physically aching. At around 15 I also felt cold rushing though my body, and even felt cold wind passing through in the air.
At around 20 minutes, I was relaxing, then it started. I literally jerked half my body of the bed. I was clutching the cushion so hard that my fingers hurt. It was EXTEREMELY painful, and my whole body was tensed up . The sound is indescribable, it is loud and some of it resembles some kind of door creaking in that movie Saw?(I'm not sure of this, haven't watched the movie properly).
After about 2 minutes of suffering in an odd position, I had to remind myself that this was it, there wasn't anything scarier coming, and I eased up a bit. Then it ended. I didn't feel any fear or paranoia that some others felt, and the scary part for me was not while or directly after the dose, but during nights. since doing that dose, I haven't slept with the lights off. Because every time I turn it off I start hearing that sound.

The good thing is that the scary part is only about 15% of the whole dose. And it's not even that scary if you're prepared. I had expected so much scarier, like some screeching sound and screaming, but nothing like that here. It's not that scary, just different.

That was a week ago. I tried it again today. I did it lying down with laptop on my lap and headphones.

First part was the same as the last time, except there was no physical pain. Again, drowsiness, coldness. At around 20 min. I started panicking, because I had set the volume a bit higher than the last time. I thought it started at 20, but apparently it only starts at around 23, so those 3 minutes felt like hell, I was thinking to myself I should stop now, and I felt extremely scared. When it started, I felt even less scared than last time, and I just listened to it relaxedly. Note that it IS a lot scarier than any other dose I've tried(most), but just not as scary as I had thought it was. It ended fairly quickly.
After it was done, I opened my eyes, kind of happy that I survived, and as my eyes were adjusting to the room, I saw the laptop on my lap. The screen had blacked out, and completely unexpectedly, I felt like it was some sort of a black hole, and I felt like it was some kind of devil(I'm serious) staring at ME. It felt alive I was so scared it is indescribable. I threw the laptop off my lap(onto the bed) cursing, and suddenly everything black in the room scared me to death. I was so scared. My body start to hurt, AFTER the dose. That was 2 hours ago, and black objects are still freaking me out, including books and even THIS.
Im thinking like, omg why are the "preview" and "submit" buttons more black than the "save draft" button. This is so scary maybe I should log off.

Nice description. Very nice.
But maybe it's kinda placebo as well? Because you were really expecting things to happen.
I should try it myself too, still busy with experimenting with Hibernate so I don't know when I'll be able to add my own experience to this.

Well yeah the cold feeling could have been placebo, but other effects were sound-induced.
And as I read somewhere here, it helps a lot if you know what to expect. If I hadn't known that there would be these sounds coming on I think I would have DIED out of fear.
I'm planning to try it in the dark soon. I'll post the experience if anyone is interested.

Amazing description.
I am surprised that you did it a second time, I am kind of scared now to try it, would you reccomend it? I have just started, so I obviously won't start off with something like this.

one of the tips ive heard is to start with the really strong stuff, just to get a feel of how much it can fuck with your brain, and if the strong ones dont work, to go to the weaker, more tame ones, the strongest dose i own is either yerba mate or taurine, i tried yerba mate and felt as little tingle in my arm half way throu. But that was it. I might try taurine later tonight or tomorrow morning.
