It can be really hard for some people, it's really hard for me. You have to be really relaxed and go into the "trance" kind of state. It helps if you have some kind of idea in your head of what you want to happen, and you repeat it to yourself because when in "trance" sort of stage your brain becomes really suggestible. I wouldn't do anything too complicated, just tell yourself something like, "the room is spinning" or "the room is going to spin" or "I'm on water" something like that. Placebo in the beginning can help for real results at the end. Doing Condition before doing the dose is good too. Keep your mind open. Another thing is even if the dose doesn't work the first time, that doesn't mean it will never work. Sometimes you have to condition your brain. Keep working with it. If you're a beginner, it's going to take a lot longer and you should try other doses as well as hallucinogenics.

What hallucinogenic doses have you tried? I've done LSD, Peyote, Acid, Ketamine, Bufo)Toad and Datura. LSD was pretty light, good for a beginner who isn't sure what they want. A lot of people get great effects from Peyote, I didn't, but lots do so it's worth trying. I had some hallucinations on Acid, visual and auditory, I felt my emotions changing every few seconds, parts of my body went numb. It was okay the first time I tried it, the second time I ended up having a "bad trip" with a huge panic attack for reasons I'm not sure of. Ketamine was interesting feeling, but I didn't really hallucinate on it. Bufo)Toad was decent, I've only done it once pretty recently, and plan to do it again. At one point I remember feeling like I was rolling down a hill. No auditory hallucinations and only slight visual, it was mostly feeling, but I liked it. Datura was. . . scary. I felt like something was just above me about to crush me, the crackling noise was really unpleasant, I did sorta hear voices, but it was more like I was remembering them. No visual, just feeling. I didn't like it, and won't be trying it again. It did have some power behind it, though.
Hope this helps!
