The only thing I can think of is that the CD consists only of frequencies that will not be cut off by a standard MP3 encoder. Now, what one considers a 'standard' MP3 encoder is hard to determine. Fact is, if one is to use the Lame MP3 encoder, he can set the low and highpass filters manually, as we...

I have to agree with the poster above me. I don't own the CD, but I fail to see how can it be more "compression friendly" than the sound wave of the doses of I-Doser?

Woah! Not to be the party pooper here, but... Isn't I-Dose just a Rip-Off from "SBaGen" ? The program itself is coded in Visual Basic 6.0 -wich makes it verry unstable. All in all, you have collected the best one ;) Now if you'll EXCUZE me, I have an important meeting with Mary-Jane :oops...

I don't have the CD, but AFAIK there are only 4 doses there. Not too many, IMO. Which means they're long.

I hate doing this, but you should really consider allowing some way for users to create MP3s or doing something else to get their doses on an iPod or somesuch. There's a similar application to I-doser out there, that allows users not only to experiment and create their own doses, but also export any...

That's indeed the right course of action for the desperate...

However, the asterisk sound is generally useful to those who have it set up.

I'd still rather see the sound removed by the app, rather than me disabling a system sound.

Vista- doesn't work?

I'm running WinXP, but some of my friends have Vista, and report that they can't get the app running.

Just to let you guys know.
